Doing some master copies lately, but adding in my own subjects for that illustrative flavor. This one is inspired by Portrait of the Young Artist as a Derelict., 1982 by Jean-Michel Basquiat. Turned out better than expected. I might approach this idea again in the near future.
I remember watching this movie a lot when I was a kid. A real big inspiration. Giant monsters, heroes, great shots, and of course the amazing effects of the great Ray Harryhausen. Here’s to him.

Mother does know best, don’t you think so. I had this image in my head for a long time. I finally just sat down and did it, doing that makes a whole hell of a difference. Trust me. Until next time.

Been working on a lot of new stuff lately. Thought I’d share a little something something, as a preview of things to come from your’s truly. I did this doodle of the brave, strong, sometimes whiney (seriously, go back and watch some of the cartoon from the 90s ) leader of the X-Men.
So this is that piece I was working on. Got caught up in other stuff, but no worries, finished and happy. Celebrating one of my favorites as a child, Robocop. From what I here about the script for the reboot (http://collider.com/robocop-remake-script-review/188614/) makes me a little nervous. Trying this new minimal approach, critiques are welcome.
